A Legacy Continues

If you received our newsletter a few months back, you may have noticed a need we shared after our laptop, in which we were doing all of our writing and video editing crashed.  It only took a couple of months for God to come through. After receiving our newsletter, widower David Bowman felt the pull of the Holy Spirit to step in and give from a special fund in which was set up to honor his late wife.

The memorial fund was specifically created to honor Lynn Bowman, whose heart was widows. Lynn played an important role in ministry to widows in the Assemblies of God Fellowship. She developed a network of women in each district to address the needs of ministers’ widows, along with organizing the memorial breakfasts for widows at the National Council. There were so many ways she touched the lives of widows both in her community and across this nation.  Lynn’s family felt that by donating those funds to help in purchasing a computer for Widows Link, her legacy could continue to touch and change widows’ lives. We so greatly appreciate the heart of the Bowman family and the faithfulness of God in working all things together for good. Today, we have a Macbook Pro fully purchased and already in use compiling this very article.  Thank you Bowman family for your gift and obedience, and our Heavenly Father for His provision.
